About Sundog Solar

Sundog Solar was established in the year of 2000, and named after the weather elements around the sun called Sundogs.  This weather phenomenon was referred to by Native Americans as a sure sign of a change in the weather.  Here at Sundog Solar we refer to it as a change in Energy.  We are dedicated to the designing, installation and stocking of renewable energy products in Canada.  Our company is ready to supply customers with everything from solar, wind, water pumping and RV and Cabin systems to grid-tie developments.

Sundog Solar has teamed up with many equipment suppliers such as Suntech, Sharp, VP, Outback and Magnum to provide our customers with up to date efficient technology.  New technology such as Enphase micro-inverters have opened new doors and set new achievable heights for solar grid tie applications.

World leaders in remote water pumping applications from Lorentz and Grundfos allows Sundog Solar to design systems capable of lifting water to 1500 ft with flow rates over 200 gpm.

Sundog Solar has developed the first fold down portable solar and wind powered pumping unit capable of working in -51 degree Fahrenheit temperatures.  We are very excited about this product and the capabilities it now brings to cattle producers.
